Take the direction of LES MAKES from SAINT-LOUIS. Once in Les Makes, turn right towards LA FENETRE. Follow the forest track of Tévelave near the MAKES AVENTURE park. The take-off point is about 4 kilometers on the left, with parking available for up to 3 vehicles in front of the wooden barriers. It takes about an hour from St Louis and 30 minutes from the landing zone at Platanes. Cross-country flights are possible both northwards and southwards. It is relatively easy to reach St-Leu on the west coast by following the crests. Access: Take the Fenêtre des Makes road up to the Make Observatory, then turn left onto the forest road to reach the take-off points at either 1,400 or 2,000 meters, depending on cloud cover.
